1. Audit shipment terms in the l/c:

to make a successful shipment, after receipt of l/c, must be of the audit certificate about shipment terms, such as the shipment time, foreign exchange settlement period, the loading port, the port of destination, whether transshipment or partial shipment and whether the specified shipping company, name of vessel, the master class, etc., and some certificate required to provide a variety of proof, such as course certificate, certificate of registration, etc., on the terms and provisions, I should be according to the policy in our country, the international practice, asked whether reasonable or whether can do it and to consider accepting or request changes.

2. Preparation for inspection:

it means to prepare the export goods to be delivered in time, quality and quantity according to the provisions of the export contract and the letter of credit concerning the varieties, specifications, quantities and packages of the goods, and to do a good job in applying for inspection and obtaining the certificate. The refrigerated cargo shall be cooled to ensure that the required temperature is met during shipment. In China, the commodities listed in the list of commodities stipulated by the commodity inspection authorities and the commodities certified by the commodity inspection authorities in accordance with the l/c and the trade contract shall be subject to the application form for export inspection before export declaration. Some export commodities need to be appraised for weight, while others need to undergo animal and plant quarantine or health and safety inspection, all of which should be done in advance and qualified inspection certificates obtained. Do a good job of preparation before shipment, the cargo certificate has been complete, you can handle the consignment work.

3. Shipping booking:

prepare the export shipping list, you can go through the booking procedures entrusted to the freight forwarders. According to the specific requirements of the owner according to the classification of routes, freight forwarders timely to the shipping company or its agent booking space. Shippers may also book space directly with the shipping company or its agent. When the shipping company or its agent signs out the shipping order, the booking of space is completed, which means that the contract of carriage between the shipper and the carrier has been concluded.

4. Insurance:

if the cargo is insured by the seller after booking the shipping space, the insurance procedure of cargo transportation insurance can be completed. The insurance amount is usually covered on the basis of CIF plus invoice value (plus 10% if not agreed upon by both parties).

5. Cargo concentration port area:

after the plan of loading at the port is determined, according to the cargo notification of the port area and within the prescribed time limit, the shipper shall complete the collection formalities, and timely transport the export goods to the port area for shipment, so as to clear the batch, number and marks. Special attention should be paid to maintaining close contact with port areas, shipping companies and relevant transport companies or railway units, so as to complete the purchase on time and prevent disjointed work from affecting the shipment schedule.

6. Customs declaration:

after the goods are concentrated in the port area, the prepared export declaration form together with the loading list, invoice, packing list, commodity inspection certificate, export contract, foreign exchange verification and other relevant documents shall be declared to the customs for export.

7. Loading:

before loading, the tallyman, on behalf of the ship, collects the loading list and receiving list of the goods released by the customs. During the loading process, the freight forwarder entrusted by the shipper shall have personnel on site to supervise the loading, keep track of the loading schedule and deal with temporary problems. Upon completion of loading, the tallyman and the chief officer of the vessel shall sign the receipt to the shipper. If the tallyman finds any defect or defective packing in a lot, he shall make a note on the receipt and sign by the chief officer to determine the liability of both parties. However, as a shipper, you should try not to annotate on the receipt to obtain a clean bill of lading.

8. Upon the completion of shipment:

the shipper shall, in addition to giving the shipping notice to the consignee, exchange the on board bill of lading by the shipping company of the receiving party or its agent.

9. Preparation of documents and settlement of foreign exchange:

after the documents for the settlement of foreign exchange stipulated in the contract or letter of credit are prepared, the documents shall be presented to the bank for the settlement of foreign exchange within the validity period of negotiation stipulated in the contract or letter of credit.
